Feathered Troodon by FutureAesthetic Feathered Troodon by FutureAesthetic
This is my reconstruction of the dinosaur Troodon its name meaning "wounding tooth." Based on my research, I find it very plausible that these dinosaurs were feathered since some species live in cold regions. One of its closest relatives Anchiornis resembled much like modern day birds in which we now know based on recent fossil discovery, the color of Anchiornis' feathers.

It's a novel I read MANY years ago, written from the perspective of a Utahraptor living during the Cretacious period.
Just looked it up again - didn't know this at the time, but the author, Robert T. Bakker is a palentologist. :)

One of the most interesting things about this dinosaur was that they were among the most intelligent of the dinosaurs.
Even more intelligent than the legendary velociraptors. Nice reconstruction.
